4 Day Makers Market, Santa’s Grotto and the Snowman Trail at The Lowry Outlet…
The market takes place over four days between Thursday November 22nd and Sunday November 25th and it brings together some of the finest arts, crafts, food and drink producers across the North West.
The Lowry Outlet plaza will be transformed into an enchanting traditional Christmas market offering a slice of seasonal shopping you won’t find on the high street.
If it is that perfect one-of-a-kind festive gift for a loved one or even a little treat for yourself, then look no further than the many art and craft stalls brimming with present ideas ahead of the big day.
Foodies searching for that extra special addition to their festive menu will be delighted with the array of artisan food producers who will be selling a wealth of fabulous regional cheeses, breads and delicatessen goodies.
For those hungry shoppers, there will also be a host of hot food stalls offering a great range of tasty treats over the four days.
All of this and street entertainers will be bringing that bit of extra sparkle to the event which is one of the many great festive activities taking place at Lowry Outlet.

Claus’ Christmas Cabin
Children and big kids alike will be able to meet Santa and his reindeer when the North Pole comes to Lowry Outlet. Let your little ones’ imaginations run wild as they step into the magical Claus’ Christmas Cabin which opens this November.
Visit the reindeer stables and enter the traditional log cabin surrounded by enchanting woodland and snow covered trees. Youngsters will be able to meet Mrs Claus and Santa who will be taking time out from his very busy present sorting schedule, so they can tell him what they would like for Christmas.
Each child will also receive a special toy on their visit. This magical experience is aimed at children aged between one and nine and entry is £8 per child but adults go free.

Walking With The Snowman
The Lowry Outlet are taking part in the Walking with The Snowman public art trail organised to celebrate the anniversary of Raymond Briggs’ classic story.
Not only will the Lowry Outlet host one of the large sculptures but they will also have some smaller snowmen on display which have been created by local schoolchildren, youth groups and adult creative organisations.
The trail is brought to you by Wild in Art and Penguin Ventures and each of the large snowman sculptures will be auctioned off before Christmas to raise funds for BBC Children in Need.
Families will have plenty of time to discover all the sculptures both large and small as the trail will run from Thursday 22nd November until Sunday 6th January.
You can pick up your trail map from the Information Desk.
Festival of Trees
Once again, Lowry Outlet will be hosting the fabulous Festival of Trees to raise vital funds for Francis House.
Returning for its 12th year, the event is organised by the Francis House Children’s Hospice and is supported by businesses and celebrities from across Manchester and beyond.
From October 27th until December 9th, decorated Christmas trees will be on show in Lowry Outlet for people to visit and they can place a bid to be in with a chance of taking home their favourite display in time for the big day.
Francis House Children’s Hospice provides respite care for children and young people with life-limiting conditions and support, friendship and short-term rest for their families.
It supports 350 children from across Greater Manchester and it needs to raise £12,900 every day to continue to provide its services. For more information, visit francishouse.org.uk
